Active School Streets at St. Leo: June 2 & 4
St. Leo Catholic Elementary School is taking part in the National Active School Streets initiative, a Canada‑wide program that supports safer, healthier school communities by reducing vehicle traffic during school arrival and dismissal times.
As part of this short‑term pilot, the street directly in front of the school will be temporarily closed to vehicles on two days in June.
The goal is simple: to create a safer space for students to walk, wheel, and spend time together as they arrive at or leave school.
